  • Jessica’s Perfect Day

    Inspiration:

    The guest of honor at this southern Connecticut Bat Mitzvah was looking to have a “perfect day.”

    Brought to Life:

    • Festivities worked hand in hand with event design Ruth Ridgeway to create “Jessica’s Perfect Day.”
    • The Loading Dock in Stamford, CT was transformed into a custom designed sorority party in tones of pink and green.
    • Guests were greeted with a designed “J” sorority home and a custom plated lit dessert as a welcome.
    • The night got on its way with dancing and gorgeous stations complete with custom designed foods-all in the pink and green theme.

  • New York Philharmonic

    Inspiration:

    The owners of this special Waccabuc estate were looking to bring the New York Philharmonic to their community creating a cultural experience in the country side.

    Brought to Life:

    • The night opened up with stations of beautiful cocktail buffets that echoed the surrounding French gardens allowing guests to mingle under the stars pre-concert.
    • Post concert, Festivities engineered firefly lit dessert buffets that created a truly magical evening that touched all the senses

  • Farm to Table

    Inspiration:

    The bride and groom share a love of food that earned them a reputation for searching out the best of the best.
    Their passion was rooted in farm to table organic cuisine.

    Brought to Life:

    • Festivities transformed the groom’s parents backyard into a rustic, farmers market theme that created the perfect setting for the high quality local, organic menu.
    • As guests arrived for the ceremony, they were greeted by a farm stand serving a signature brew of ginger/mint lemonade and peach/plum iced tea all garnished with fresh mint lemon verbena from the groom’s mother’s garden.
    • The buffet table was brought to life with farm fresh flowers and organic meats, fish and salads.

  • Chicago Jazz

    Inspiration:

    Celebrating a milestone birthday, this world famous marketing entrepreneur was a formally trained musician with a particular passion for jazz.
    The inspiration was to weave his jazz passion into a sophisticated and electric birthday party

    Brought to Life:

    • Festivities created the first “Poverty Hollow Jazz Festival”
    • The entire event was designed in black & blue with custom made t-shirts as party favors navigating each guest through America’s hot jazz points.
    • Chef Bill made an amazing towered cake with cascades of white chocolate musical notes.
    • Festivities coordinated a Chicago jazz impresario to be flown in and toast the birthday boy.

  • Sense of Community

    Inspiration:

    Create a 50th birthday celebration that is cool, hot and warm all at the same. A full on dance party for a man who loves to dance all while having a sense of community for this beloved man.

    Brought to Life:

    • The Festivities team transformed a Connecticut horse farm into a cool party with warm feelings of love, friendship and celebration.
    • 250 guests were seated at 24′ long tables with custom covered benches creating an elegant yet community feeling.
    • The menu was served “family style” so that every six guests had their own mini buffet presentations.
    • Comfortable lounge areas were construction with custom hanging grape vine light fixtures creating a glowing country charm feeling.
    • A great DJ with custom equipment allowed guests to dance away to a hot beat while those at their seats could visit and chat.

  • WONDERland

    Brought to Life:

    • Guests were greeted with a champagne punch and Turn of the Century English Tea party with delicate tea sandwiches to savor.
    • The Festivities Team transformed rows of uniform tables into an arena fit for the “Queen of Hearts” the lovely Ann Sheffer.
    • As we were celebrating Westport Arts Center, each table had paint buckets of sauces. Guests could “paint” their favorite or make a masterpiece.
    • The night finished off with sips of Test Tube Shots of “Jabberwocky Juice” and seeking a treat inside wandering balloons or moving table with a man in the center.

  • Drama on the Sound

    Inspiration:

    Wedding at home on the water

    Brought to Life:

    • Roe and team took a unique home on the water and created (with the help of mother nature) an unforgettable day
    • Guests were greeted with elegant plastic glasses of champagne and sparkling water and alternative foot wear for their climb up and down the slippery rocks.
    • A dramatic boat entrance by the bride and her father complete with white sneakers and wind breaker stuffed in the glove compartment
    • Umbrellas were on hand in case the skies opened back up and the nervous flower girls had a special spot reserved next to their mom for the thunder and canon, yes, a canon shot!
    • This day was a testament to the importance of good planning, a back up plan to a the back up plan comes in handy when you are in unpredictable circumstances!

  • Shopping on the Avenue

    Inspiration:

    Springtime Store Opening

    Brought to Life:

    • We paired with Moffley Media to highlight summer store line openings at the Lexington Company and Roberta Roller Rabbit on Greenwhich Ave.
    • Bill’s Ginger Mint Lemonade was a hit with everyone and added an elegance to the picnic theme.
    • Easy to eat, absolutely delicious and self contained food was clean and beautiful to protect the store merchandise without compromising on taste or style.
    • Michele Sinacore events designed a wonderful tablescape and festivities filled it with on the go sandwiches and homemade jams.

    Inspiration:

    Country Fair

    Brought to Life:

    • Owner and Executive Chef Bill Kaliff is a culinary genius!
    • Working with the Events Team at Hole in the Wall Gang is always a pleasure and one of their favorites is Bill’s fresh made doughnuts.
      At the Polo Gala in Greenwhich this summer Bill perfected the art of artisan doughnut making en-masse

    Inspiration:

    Culinary sophistication at a Family Wedding

    Brought to Life:

    • The groom, a chef himself, wanted to give his guests a wonderful culinary experience without taking away from his lovely bride’s decor. We worked on a menu of deconstructed options, not sacrificing the quality of food but limiting the preparation time.
    • The couple could not have asked for a more perfect day. The sky was a cloudless blue and a balmy 75F. Just enough clouds rolled in during the sunset to light up the sky in pinks and oranges.
    • Dancing and merrymaking continued into the night as the band played on the veranda and Strawberry Milkshakes were passed for dessert
